These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Odysseus Education (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to individual clients and institutional partners (“you,” “your,” or “Client”).
By booking, purchasing, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Odysseus Education provides paid services including, but not limited to:

Personal tutoring and academic mentoring (including support related to neurodiversity, postgraduate applications, academic careers, and study abroad preparation)
-
Consultancy services for universities, organisations, and educational providers (including training, policy review, inclusion strategy development, and advisory services)
Specific services, deliverables, timelines, and fees will be agreed in writing prior to commencement.
2. Eligibility and Client Responsibilities
Individual Clients (Tutoring & Mentoring)
You confirm that:

The information you provide to us is accurate and complete

You will engage respectfully and professionally
-
You understand that tutoring and mentoring provide guidance and support, not guaranteed academic or career outcomes
You remain responsible for:

Meeting institutional deadlines
-
Submitting your own academic work
-
Ensuring compliance with your university’s academic integrity policies
Odysseus Education does not complete assessed work on behalf of students.
Institutional Clients (Consultancy)
Institutional clients agree to:

Provide accurate and timely information necessary for consultancy work
-
Facilitate reasonable access to relevant stakeholders and documentation
-
Use consultancy recommendations responsibly and within applicable legal frameworks
3. Fees and Payment
All fees will be clearly communicated and agreed in advance.

Payment terms (including deposits, instalments, or invoicing schedules) will be set out in writing.

Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within [14/30] days of issue.

Services may be suspended if payment is not received within the agreed timeframe.
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Tutoring Sessions

Clients must provide at least [24/48] hours’ notice to reschedule a session.

Sessions cancelled with insufficient notice may be charged in full.

Repeated cancellations may result in termination of services.
Consultancy Services
Cancellation terms for consultancy projects will be specified in the service agreement. Where work has commenced, fees for completed work and committed time remain payable.
5. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is central to our work.
We will treat all personal and institutional information shared with us as confidential, except where:

Disclosure is required by law

There is a risk of serious harm

You have provided explicit consent to share information
Clients also agree not to disclose proprietary materials, training content, or strategic documents provided by Odysseus Education without written permission.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials created by Odysseus Education—including training materials, reports, frameworks, templates, and written guidance—remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use materials for their personal or internal institutional purposes only.
Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially reused without prior written consent.
7. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While we provide high-quality, research-informed support and consultancy, we do not guarantee:

Admission to academic programmes

Employment or academic appointments
-
Institutional policy adoption
-
Specific academic results
-
Funding or scholarship awards
Outcomes depend on multiple external factors beyond our control.
8. Professional Boundaries
Odysseus Education provides educational support and consultancy services. We do not provide:

Legal advice
-
Medical or clinical services
-
Immigration advice
-
Psychological therapy
Where appropriate, we may recommend that clients seek specialised professional services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Odysseus Education shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Our total liability arising from any service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid for that specific service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate services in writing.
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if:

There is abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate conduct

Payment terms are repeatedly breached
-
There is misuse of materials or services
Fees for work completed up to the termination date remain payable.
11. Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
12. Amendments
We may update these Terms periodically. The most current version will be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
